Spotify Expands Beta Version Of AI Playlist Features To Dozens Of New Countries

JAKARTA Spotify launched the AI Playlist feature to more countries. Although still available in beta testing, this Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based feature can be accessed in 40 new countries.

The AI Playlist feature was first introduced last year for selected Premium account users. Using this feature, users can create playlists according to the desired mood or moment.

AI Playlist is available on Android and iOS for users in the US, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand when it launches. Now, this feature is accessible in Australia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, and much more.

"We present this feature in English for Premium users in more than 40 new markets, including countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean, which help more users easily change ideas," Spotify explained.

Spotify does not provide any restrictions on creating this feature. In its official blog, the music streaming platform says that users can create 'millions of playlists' if they wish.

There are many types of songs that can be AI Playlist made. Users can put up simple ideas like 'music for sports' or something a little more complicated like 'electropop that brings high energy and can take me to other worlds'.

Whatever prompt idea the user includes, it will get interesting results. To use this feature, users only need to open the Library tab and tap on the added-sign icon in the lower left corner of the screen.

This feature is not yet available in Indonesia. It is not yet known when this feature will be tested in other countries. Spotify also did not reveal when the AI Playlist was launched in a stable version to users around the world.
