Complete JAECOO J5 BEV Specifications Ready To Launch In Indonesia This Year
JAKARTA - After being introduced at the IIMS 2025 event in the form of a concept, JAECOO officially released the complete specifications for its first electric car, J5 BEV in China.
In an event in China, JAECOO Indonesia Product Manager Ryan Ferdiean shared complete details of JAECOO J5 BEV specifications, so what is it like?
By design, this car displays a modern and futuristic impression. On the front, no culling is presented, and the LED all-light has also been pinned together with the words JAECOO. Meanwhile, confirming that this one car is a pure electric vehicle with the words BEV in the lower front area.
Turning to the side, this one car comes with a straight line that displays a firm impression and is still equipped with a prominent door handle. Turning to the back, the spotlight and the design tend to be modern and embedded with the name JAECOO.
This electric car comes with a length of 4,380 mm, a width of 1,860 mm, and a height of 1,650 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm. The Ground clearance is also capable thanks to an approach angle of 20 degrees and a departure angle of 30 degrees.
Entering the cabin, this car offers a modern impression with a large screen infotainment that can be a function of car controllers, and also a lot of soft materials are embedded, especially in the doortrim area. Many consoles are also provided to place various items.

Regarding the heart of the runway, J5 BEV is equipped with a 67 kW electric motor with a peak power reaching 155 kW or 207 dk. The peak torque reaches 288 Nm, which makes acceleration 0-100 km/hour achievable within 7.7 seconds. The speed of this electric motor rotation reaches 18,000 rpm.
This car is equipped with a 60.9 kWh capacity battery capable of traveling up to 400 kilometers in WLTC testing, or 470 km based on Thailand's NEDC standard. Interestingly, it is also equipped with fast charging or DC capabilities from 30 percent to 80 percent, which takes 27 minutes.
In terms of convenience, this electric SUV comes with a MacPherson front and back suspension relying on a multi-link system that will provide more convenience for users later.
"We will take it at GIIAS, and this year it will launch no later than the fourth quarter," JAECOO Indonesia Head of Marketing Evan Anganantika told VOI some time ago in China.
"The current specifications may also change because those that have been pinned in China," concluded Evan.
