Minister Of Culture Fadli Zon Encourages Cultural Development In NTT
KUPANG Minister of Culture Fadli Zon emphasized the importance of cultural development in building East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This was conveyed while attending the National Seminar "Distinguishing Phrasa Ayo Bangun NTT", Friday (25/4) at the Harper Hotel, Kupang.
Arriving at El Tari Airport, Menbud Fadli Zon was greeted directly by the Governor of NTT Emanuel Melkiades. The embedding of Adonara's ikat weaving scar marks public respect for the visit.
In a seminar attended by more than 500 participants, including the ranks of regents, students, and students, Fadli Zon emphasized that physical development must be in line with human development. He reminded the message in the national anthem Indonesia Raya: "Build a soul, build a body."
"The most important thing is not only physical infrastructure, but building human culture. Culture is a sustainable foundation for national development," said Menbud Fadli Zon in a written statement received on Saturday, April 26.

He hopes that this seminar will be able to inspire the younger generation to make a real contribution in building their respective regions. "We want students and students to absorb the importance of building from their respective fields, because they are the next generation," he continued.
Fadli Zon added that the Ministry of Culture is committed to making culture the strength of the nation's character. "Culture must be a national treasury that we continue to develop," he said.
NTT Governor Emanuel Melkiades in his remarks appreciated the visit of the Minister of Culture and hoped that this momentum would strengthen his determination to make NTT a "Nusa Tanah Terjanji," according to the President's message.
"I invite all NTT diaspora wherever they are to synergize. The NTT Youth Forum is one of the strengths of the diaspora that can accelerate development," said Emanuel.
The seminar "Distinguishing Phrasa Ayo Bangun NTT" is part of the "Gebyar Forum Pemuda NTT" series ahead of the inauguration of the Kupang City DPD management. This activity previously included talk shows on national television, socialization of the San Pedro University internship program, to planting 1,000 trees with 600 students.
