IPhone 17 Air Will Be Launched This Year, Here Are 16 New Features

JAKARTA Apple, a company from Cuprtino, is rumored to be launching the iPhone 17 Air in September 2025. Although the launch is still a few months away, various leaks of this ultra-thin iPhone feature and specifications have been widely discussed.

The iPhone 17 Air is said to be the thinst iPhone in history, with a thickness of only 5.5 mm in its thin parts, although it could reach 9.5 mm if it included the back camera bulge.

Comes with a very slim and lightweight design, this device will bring some compromise when compared to the Pro variant, such as having only one rear camera, one speaker, and a standard A19 chip (not the A19 Pro).

However, this thin design does not necessarily make the battery life weak. The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be carrying a battery with a high capacity, Apple's power-efficient C1 modem, and internal space is more relieved by the absence of the Ultra Wide camera, which allows for a larger battery.

12GB RAM is higher than the previous model and supports Apple Intelligence

Trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also mentioned that the entire iPhone 17, including the iPhone 17 Air, Pro, and Pro Max, will be equipped with 12GB RAM a significant increase from 8GB in the iPhone 16 series.

However, the basic model of the iPhone 17 may still use 8GB if the supply of components is limited. It is estimated that all iPhone 18 variants next year will bring 12GB RAM as standard.

Apple is planned to officially announce the iPhone 17 lineup in September 2025.
