Arsenal Will Sell Bellerin, Ready To Recruit Max Aarons From Norwich For Rp605 Billion
JAKARTA - Arsenal is poised to release its old right-back, Hector Bellerin, this summer and hopes to replace him with Max Aarons from Norwich, 90min reported on Thursday.
Aarons himself is reportedly worth £30 million (around Rp605 billion).
Bellerin joined the Gunners a decade ago when he was just 16 and quickly became a crowd's favorite after breaking into the first team towards the end of 2014.
However, injuries severely limited his performances in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons. The defender from Spain has recently begun to be marginalized in the Arsenal squad.
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is interested in signing Bellerin last summer. However, PSG did not meet Arsenal's asking price that season, but Arsenal is now ready to let go of the player.
Technical director Edu and Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta are now looking to build a new squad.

Arsenal has been tracking Aarons for a number of years and he has everything they want.
Aarons recently helped Norwich get promoted back to the English Premier League. The England U-21 national team player even caught the attention of Barcelona and Bayern Munich last season.
Meanwhile, other English clubs such as Manchester City, Everton, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Leicester, and Newcastle are monitoring the player's situation.
Despite having many rivals for Aarons from other English clubs, Arsenal is confident they are capable of reaching an agreement with Norwich.
As well as Bellerin, the North London club is poised to sell striker Alexandre Lacazette and replace him with their old target Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
