WhatsApp Introduces New Features, Users Can't Share Content Chat Carelessly

JAKARTA - WhatsApp introduced a new feature called Advanced Chat Privacy, which helps prevent others from taking content outside WhatsApp, for extra security.

So, if this feature is enabled, you can block other people from exporting chats, download the media automatically to their phones, and use messages for AI features.

"That way, everyone in the chat will be more confident that no one can accept what is said outside the chat," Meta wrote in its announcement on Thursday, April 24.

Meta confirms that this feature is very suitable for use in a group that contains your trusted people, and does not want the discussion in it to leak to other people.

"Like talking about health challenges in support groups or organizing your community about something important for you," the company added.

To enable this feature, you can activate it by tapping the chat name, then tapping Advanced Chat Privacy.

"This is the first version of this feature and we plan to add more so that it will cover more protection later," he said.

This new setting will be rolled out to everyone who uses the latest version of WhatsApp. So, immediately update your WhatsApp application in the play store or app store.
