Losing To Madison, Demi Moore Admits He Was Disappointed By Oscar's Failure

JAKARTA - Two months after the Oscar award was held, actress Demi Moore discussed her failure to win the Best Actress trophy that Madison got.

Demi Moore was nominated for Best Actress at Oscar 2025 thanks to her performance in the film The Substance, while Madison and Anora. The trophy was won by Madison who received a different response from the public.

Not a few regretted and thought Demi Moore deserved the trophy. Recently, Moore answered his claim that he should have won the Oscar.

"It would be great. I can't say I'm angry about it, but the question I won? That's not the perspective I hold. Because I didn't (win)," Demi Moore told Variety.

"I really believe in the idea that everything in life happens to me, not to me," he continued.

Furthermore, when he reflected on his defeat, rather than feeling he was better, he tried to think what all this meant.

"It doesn't mean there's no disappointment, sadness, or anything like that but when I see it, I take a step back for a moment and say, 'What does all this mean?' said Demi Moore.

"Of course, there is disappointment. I also realize there is something better to put on me, even though I don't know what. I had the opportunity to get to know Madison and I think she did well," he said again.

"I apologize to everyone who hopes for me, because I feel there is greater collective disappointment than me," said Moore.

The film The Substance received five Oscar nominations and won one for hairstyles and makeup. On the other hand, Demi Moore will act in the film I Love Boosters with Keke Palmer and Naomi Akkie.
