Police Investigate Cause Of Accident Involving Fuso Bus And Truck In Demak 1 Person Died

DEMAK - Police are investigating the cause of the accident involving a PO Jaya Utama Indonesia bus with a fuso truck that resulted in one death toll on Jalan Semarang-Kudus kilometer 29.9, Demak City District, Central Java (Central Java) on Wednesday, April 23 in the morning.

"The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by officers," said Head of Regulation, Guards, and Patrol (Turjawali) of the Demak Police Traffic Unit IPDA M. Khoirul when met at the accident site in Demak, confiscated by Antara.

As a result of the accident, he said, one victim died at the scene, namely a truck driver named Suwito (51) from Central Lampung Regency.

The victim who drove the fuso truck with the number BE 8103 FUA, he said, suffered broken right and left legs and chest injuries. Meanwhile, the body was buried at the Sunan Kalijaga Demak Hospital.

The victim survived and had to undergo treatment at the hospital, namely a PO Jaya Utama Indonesia bus driver named Eko Budianto (36) from Rembang Regency because he had a broken right and left leg, and had a left hand, so he had to be treated at the Sunan Kalijaga Demak Hospital.

Meanwhile, the accident is expected to occur on Wednesday, April 23 at around 04.30 WIB.

As for the chronology of the incident, it started when the Indonesian Main Jaya Bus with the number L 7158 UB walked from the direction of Kudus to Semarang.

Arriving at the TKP, it is suspected that the walk was not careful and lacked concentration while trying to overtake the vehicle in front of it from the right so that it exceeded the road as acid and hit a fuso truck with the number BE 8103 FUA which was running from the opposite direction.

Due to this incident, the head of the ringsek truck and the right bus body were also badly damaged.

The majority of bus passengers survived, while those who suffered leg bruises were named Allatihah (2) from Semarang City. Now the victim is being treated at RSI NU Jogoloyo Demak.

A crane was also brought in to tow a fuso truck loaded with flour from Tegal to be sent to Bali so as not to interfere with the smooth flow of traffic. Meanwhile, the bus has already been evacuated from the location.
