Through The City War Film, Ariel Tatum Voices Women's Tensiness Amid The Challenges Of Life
JAKARTA Ariel Tatum has again attracted attention through his role as Fatima in the film War Kota. In an interview that took place in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Monday, April 21, Ariel revealed how he felt emotional close to the character he played, even though he was set in a post-independence period.
"Fatima is a very strong woman, yes. Even though the City War is the background of Indonesia after the independence era, in the era of independence where maybe there is not one disease for us that feels like life in that era. It's just that I think it's still very, very relevant when we try to pull it into the current era, right," said Ariel Tatum.
For Ariel, the spirit of Fatima's struggle against various limitations of life can still be felt by today's generation. He emphasized that the struggle for life is a universal thing, regardless of age or gender.
"The resilience of Fatima, the spirit of struggle, even though we Fatima and I are in different eras, the merchandise, the struggle in life, want to be a woman, want to be a man, we live it must be full of struggle," he continued.
Furthermore, Ariel said that Fatima's story reflects the inner struggles relevant in the modern era, especially for women who are looking for a place and meaning in life.
