Company Owned By Conglomerate TP Rachmat, Dharma Polimetal Distributes Dividend Of IDR 202 Billion
JAKARTA - Automotive component manufacturing issuer owned by conglomerate TP Rachmat, PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk (DRMA) distributed cash dividends of IDR 202, billion to shareholders.
The dividend distributed is 35 percent of the net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity in 2024 which was recorded at IDR 579.3 billion. This was the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held by the Company in Cikarang today, April 22.
"This dividend distribution is a form of appreciation to DRMA's shareholders," said Dharma Polimetal President Director Irianto Santoso.
Dividend distribution was carried out following the success of DRMA in posting stable sales at IDR 5.5 trillion in the 2024 financial year. The sales achievement led to a 4.2 percent growth in the core profit for the year, up from IDR 555.81 billion to IDR 579.3 billion in 2024.
The two-wheeled vehicle segment (2W) which recorded sales of IDR 3.3 trillion, an increase of 11.9 percent YoY was the main driver of DRMA's growth. With this amount of sales, this segment accounts for 59 percent of the company's total sales.
Not complacent with the current achievements, DRMA continues to actively diversify its product portfolio to be able to create alternative income. One of the business diversifications under development is the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) which has been developed in a new factory owned by a subsidiary of the Company, namely PT Dharma Controlcable Indonesia (DCI).
Different from the main business in the automotive sector that DRMA has been involved in so far, BESS is an energy storage battery that is generally used to store energy from solar panels. In this newly initiated business portfolio, the Company has succeeded in supplying 600 BESS units to one of the housing developers.

In addition, DRMA has also begun to enter the auxiliary battery segment. Since late 2024, the Company has produced auxiliary battery under its own brand, namely DC Battery (part of the Dharma Connect ecosystem). Unlike most of the auxiliary batteries circulating in today's market, DRMA focuses on lithium-based technology, which offers longer durability at competitive prices.
Currently, all sales of this product are still aimed at the export market, but the Company is currently reviewing the potential for expansion into the domestic market.
The existence of additional revenue from this new business is expected to strengthen the Company's ability to achieve the 10 percent sales growth target by 2025.
