Real Action, Young Entrepreneur Cahaya Manthovani Wins Puspa Nawasena Award On Kartini Day

JAKARTA - Young entrepreneur Cahaya Manthovani received the Puspa Nawasena award at the 2025 National Puspa Award event.

This award is given as a form of appreciation for its contribution in creating meaningful social impacts as young women who are actively building a brighter future for Indonesia.

This event gives awards to inspiring women from all over Indonesia who have brought positive changes in various fields.

This year, the Puspa Bangsa Award consists of several categories, namely Puspa Pertiwi, Puspa Pesona, Puspa Adidaya, Puspa Cita, and Puspa Nawarena. Puspa Nawasena's award, which comes from Sanskrit, means "a bright future", is given to young women who bring hope and courage in shaping Indonesia's future. One of the recipients of this award is Cahaya Manthovani.

Social Commitment and Concern

Cahaya Manthovani said that everything that was done was a call for conscience to build social awareness and concern for people in need.

He wants to encourage sympathy and empathy, especially for Generation Z and marginalized communities who are often marginalized.

"Being Puspa Nawasena is a gift as well as a mandate. This is not just an appreciation, but also a reminder that the struggle to create a just, equal, and inclusive space is still very long," said Cahaya.

As a young activist and daily chairman of the National Pelita Inclusion Foundation, Light has high hopes for young people and the 2045 golden generation.

He believes that this generation has tremendous potential to become an agent of change that has a positive impact on society.

"Through my experience and journey, I have learned that collaboration, empathy, and innovation are the keys to creating sustainable change. I encourage young people to continue to develop themselves, engage in social activities, and build strong networks to support each other," he added.

Support for MBG Program

He is also active in various social activities, education, advocacy, and community empowerment.

One of the real contributions is support for the government's Free Nutrition Food program.

Through the Pelita Bangsa Inclusion Foundation, Cahaya will distribute nutritious food to 1,500 students and teachers at 11 Extraordinary Schools (SLB) in the Tangerang City area.

"We have signed a Joint Agreement for the SKH Nutrition Food program in Tangerang Raya. This is a continuation of our previous program at SLBN 07 Jakarta," explained Cahaya.
