Hotman Paris Asks Evidence Of Cheating, Paula Verhoeven: Nothing!

JAKARTA The accusation of infidelity that dragged Paula Verhoeven's name in the divorce process from Baim Wong has returned to the spotlight.

Hotman Paris Hutapea, a well-known lawyer for vocals, also responded to the news through a brief conversation with Paula Verhoeven.

"Proved what husband brings to court! What is the evidence of cheating?" asked Hotman Paris quoted by VOI from Instagram @hotmanparisofficial on Monday, April 21.

Answering the question, Paula Verhoeven firmly denied any evidence of an affair against her.

"Good morning, Hotman. There is no evidence of cheating," Paula replied.

He then explained that the CCTV footage at home only showed ordinary conversations, without any indications or evidence of inappropriate actions as alleged.

"The CCTV evidence at home is chatting. There is chatting at the dining table, in the living room (ahead of the main room) but the sitting position is far away and the door is unlocked," Paula continued.

Previously, the South Jakarta Religious Court clearly stated that Paula was proven to be having an affair.

"Regarding the existence of a third party in the trial, the panel of judges stated that it was proven, so that with the third party we know in the media we cannot name the real name because this case has not been submitted, so the NS initials state that it is proven," explained Suryana, Public Relations of the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, April 16.

Furthermore, Suryana explained that the presence of this third party had a major impact on the decision of the panel of judges in deciding the divorce case.

"So that with the evidence that there is a third party in the household between the two, the respondent is declared to be a wife who is disobedient to her husband who neglects her obligation to eventually not maintain honor as a wife, even if this language betrays the sacred relationship between husband and wife," he continued.
