Vice Regent Sahrul Gunawan Wants To Send Merchants From Bandung From Jakarta
BANDUNG - Deputy Regent of Bandung Sahrul Gunawan wants to return or repatriate traders from Bandung Regency who sell in Jakarta.
By managing these traders, the economic and tourism sector in Bandung Regency will increase.
"50 percent of the traders in Tanah Abang, Pasar Senen, Pasar Kamis, are people of Soreang and Majalaya, why don't we bring them to Bandung Regency," said Sahrul in Bandung, West Java, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 28. .
Sahrul said that later the traders will be facilitated to resell them at a cheap rental price. Because as he knows, rents in the market in Jakarta are quite expensive.
"So that later people come here, with tourism facilities that can be developed, God willing, it can make business people prosperous in Bandung and increase tourism," said the newly appointed Deputy Regent.
Sahrul wants a place or location where business people can gather to become a tourism attraction for Bandung Regency.
"My dream is that I want a building that can accommodate business people in the future, and it is related to tourism, because now there needs to be a priority scale in development, God willing, it can actually happen in the future," he continued.
In addition, he also believes that business actors, especially micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role to play in driving the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Therefore, Sahrul ensures that he will continue to provide marketing space for MSME products to be competitive with other products.
"How is the development of MSMEs, then given a kind of facility to meet business actors, and the role of the Bandung Regency Government to ensure its quality," said Sahrul.
