IDX Reveals Average Stock Market Trading Transaction Volume Increases

JAKARTA The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that Stock Trading Data on the IDX for a week from April 14 to April 17, 2025, was closed in various ways.

The highest increase occurred in the average daily transaction volume of the Exchange this week, which was 9.22 percent to 22.54 billion shares from 18.90 billion shares the previous week.

The increase also occurred in IDX's market capitalization of 3.98 percent to Rp11,120 trillion from Rp10,695 trillion a week earlier.

Then, the movement of the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) for a week increased by 2.81 percent, closed at the level of 6,438,269 from 6,262,226 last week.

However, the average daily transaction frequency this week decreased, which was 1.01 percent, to 1.18 million transactions from 1.17 million transactions last week.

In addition, the decline also occurred in the average IDX daily transaction value for a week, which was 1.7 percent to Rp14.56 trillion from Rp14.81 trillion in the previous week.

Furthermore, foreign investors on April 17, recorded a net selling value of IDR 679.86 billion and throughout 2025, foreign investors recorded a net selling value of IDR 49.55 trillion.
