Situbondo Takes Advantage Of People's Schools And DTSEN To Eradicate Poverty
SITUBONDO - The Situbondo Regency Government, East Java will take advantage of the People's School and National Sole Social Economic Data (DTSEN) program as the main lever in poverty alleviation in the area.
Situbondo Regent Yusuf Rio Wahyu Prayogo admitted that he was very happy when he first conveyed the National Sole Social Data or DTSEN by Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf during the Coordination of Public School Development at the Situbondo Regency Hall, Saturday.
"This data (DTSEN) makes more precise policies, we can know who is extreme poor, who needs to be sent to school, who needs intervention, and this is the ultimate move to overcome poverty," he said.
In addition to DTSEN which will become a reference for the government, he continued, poverty alleviation in Situbondo Regency will also use an educational approach by utilizing the People's School program initiated by President Prabowo Subianto.
The Regent of Rio said that the local government had prepared an area of 6 hectares for the People's School, as well as preparing the use of existing buildings as the first step.
