At The Bribe Session For Benur Export Permits, The Name Of Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto Was Also Dragged Away
JAKARTA - The Director of Export and Import of PT Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama (DPPP) Ardi Wijaya has dragged the name of the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto into a trial on suspicion of bribery for the export license of lobster or fries.
This testimony began when the public prosecutor (JPU) touched on the controllers of PT ACK, which was the only expedition company that sent lobster seeds.
"Do you know PT ACK or have you ever heard of the controller?" asked the prosecutor Ronald Ferdinand Worotikan during a trial at the Corruption Court, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 28.
"I don't know," answered Ardi.
Then, the prosecutor changed his question to be more detailed regarding the witness's communication with Suharjito, who was a bribe in the case of the fry export license.
At that time, Ardi did not explain clearly. But it is admitted that there is a controlling figure in question.
"Indeed it is not specifically the controller of PT ACK, there was indeed a discussion with Suharjito. And the discussion was in October," said Ardi.
Hearing Ardi's answer, the prosecutor read out the investigation report (BAP) number 27. It contained the name Prabowo Subianto who was said to have received a special proportion of PT ACK's profits. Ardi also agreed with the contents of the BAP.
"Suharjito later by PT ACK could not be divided by other people or used by other people. Because he has a special Prabowo. Because according to Suharjito the profit is 30 billion per month," said Ardi.
"For exports of 1 to 5 million per month. The reason is that according to Suharjito it is 1,500 x 5 million and my response is that usually the money is cash from the KKP. I get this from speech, when I'm chatting," continued Ardi.
Then, the prosecutor emphasized the point of Ardi's statement that dragged Prabowo's name. Especially about the context of the special election.
"What does this mean, does PT ACK have a special Prabowo?" asked Ronald.
"This is what I caught. He must have linked it with Pak Prabowo," answered Ardi.
"Pak Prabowo who?" asked Ronald.
"Pak Prabowo is the Minister of Defense," answered Ardi.
Ardi then confirmed that Prabowo's name appeared based on conversations and explanations from Suharjito. So, he assumed and believed that what he meant was Prabowo Subianto.
"Yes (Prabowo Subianto) because the previous magazines were linked with cadres. But I didn't ask back, I didn't make it clear," said Ardi.
"Because Mr. Suharjito spoke?" asked the prosecutor.
"Yes," said Ardi.
Meanwhile, former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Edhy Prabowo was charged with accepting bribes of up to Rp25.7 billion. This bribe is related to the export license for lobster or fry.
