GIANYAR - The discovery of a body in the Tukad or the Petanu River, Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali caused a stir for residents. It is believed that the body was Komang Ayu Ardani (37), who had been missing for more than a month after plunging into the river.
IGN Dibya Presasta, Head of Emergency and Logistics of Regional Disaster Management Gianyar Regency, Bali, said the body was found at 13:44 WITA, Wednesday, April 28.
"Information received or the discovery of the body in Tukad Petanu", said Presasta.
The victim's family, Ni Komang Ayu, initially walked through Tukad Petanu. The body was found among the rocks, prone on the wood
"It was (allegedly) confirmed that the husband of the victim's pants was still attached and the husband was present at the location. Then the body was taken to Ari Canti Hospital", said Presasta.
As previously reported, a single accident of a family from a grandmother, mother, and child occurred in the Ubud area, Gianyar Regency, Bali, on Thursday, March 18 evening.
The victims were Ni Komang Ayu Ardani (37) I Putu Kevin Ramansa (10) and Ni Ketut Rindit (55). The motorbike crashed in the Petanu River, Ubud District, Gianyar.
"Laka then took a motorbike and fell into the river", said the Head of the Ubud Police, AKP I Gede Sudyatmaja, Friday, March 19.
The accident started when they got on a motorbike with the police number DK 6488 KAD driven by Ni Komang Ayu. The other two people are on the pig.
Witnesses at the location said that the motorbike passed when it rained heavily. At that time the witness saw that the motorbike had fallen into the river.
