Officially Established, XLSMART Targets Revenue To Reach IDR 45.8 Trillion

Meanwhile, XLSMART today officially established as an integrated telecommunications entity, the result of the merger of businesses from PT XL Axiata Tbk, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk, and PT Smart Telecom.

XLSMART President Director and CEO Rajeev Sethi said that the formation of XLSMART is an important step in realizing its goals in connecting every Indonesian person to a better life.

"We unite the complementary forces of XL Axiata and Smartfren under one leadership and a common vision to become leaders of Indonesia's digital transformation rate," he said at a press conference, Thursday, April 17.

Rajeev said that he would continue to operate flagship brands to serve mobile cellular and home broadband customers through XL, AXIS, and Smartfren as well as MSME and corporate customers through XLSMART for Business while improving service quality, expanding coverage, and providing a more intelligent and integrated digital experience.

"With more than 94.5 million subscribers, each connection means a lot, and we are committed to providing reliable, inclusive, and transformative services," he added.

In addition, Rajeev said that his party is committed to balanced governance, customer-oriented decision-making, and innovation based on long-term goals.

"This is not just a merger of companies. This is a big leap for Indonesia's digital ecosystem," he continued.

Rajeev conveyed that with a new structure and identity, his party is ready to empower the community, business actors, and institutions throughout Indonesia.

"Our leadership team is full of enthusiasm to present a digital future that is brave, inclusive, and human-centered," he explained.

Rajeev said that with a combined market share of 25 percent, the projected revenue of IDR 45.8 trillion was supported by a customer base of more than 94.5 million XLSMART.

"Our focus remains the same and very clear: customers," he said.

Rajeev said that his party is building a company that is more responsive, more agile, and smarter in providing services.

"Both in big cities and remote areas, XLSMART is here to ensure that every Indonesian has access to truly meaningful technology, network and experience," he added.
