Samsung Adds Repeated Sleep And Settings Report Features In SmartThings

JAKARTA SmartThings, Samsung's device connecting platform, received a recent update. This update includes an upgrade to the Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature for home devices.

There are several updates announced by Samsung, one of which is the integration of Samsung Health with a more personal automation experience. The application gets environmental reporting features when connected to the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring.

This feature will help users control their sleep health by providing detailed insight. For example, users can find out the temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide levels, to the intensity of room light while they are asleep.

"When paired with the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring, the latest update allows SmartThings to automatically adjust the environment based on the user's actual sleep and building time," Samsung said in its report.

Samsung also adds automation routine features with a repeat schedule, ranging from weekly, monthly, to annual. Users can change the color of the smart light according to the specified time or activate certain television channels every morning.

"(You can) set the TV to turn on the news in the morning or switch to a favorite channel at a predetermined time to make sure they don't miss any shows," explains Samsung.
