Latinusa Prepares Capital Expenditure Of 2.3 Million US Dollars This Year

JAKARTA - PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk (NIKL) or Latinusa has budgeted a capital expenditure (capex) of US$2.3 million by 2025. The source of this year's capex funding will be obtained from the company's internal cash.

President Director of Latinusa (NIKL) Jetrinaldi said the funds would be used to support the company's business, especially in tinplate development. Latinusa will continue to innovate to optimize tinplate in various important industrial sectors in the country.

"This year's CAPex will be used to support the company's factories or tinplate production. As we know, we will continue to maintain factory reliability and follow current developments to make our products more qualified and able to maintain consumer satisfaction," he said, after the Annual Agam Holders General Meeting (AGMS), in Jakarta, Thursday, April 17.

Meanwhile, in this AGMS, according to Jetrinaldi, the Company agreed not to distribute dividends to NIKL shareholders. The reason is, the Company is still focused on improving or strengthening the capital structure.

"We are still in the stage of improving the capital structure and business development, so there is no dividend payment," he said.

Jetrinaldi added that the company will continue the strategy that was carried out the previous year. Starting from maximizing performance, production, sales to the efficiency of all aspects. In addition, the Company, continues to focus on the premium market segment so that the profits (margins) obtained by the company are better.

"The strategy we will do is the same as the previous year, which is how Latinusa can sell products that have a fairly good margin," he said.

Thus, the Company hopes to make a profit by 2025.
