Sri Mulyani Reveals Meeting The US Ambassador To Discuss Tariff Policy
Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that she had just held a meeting with the United States Ambassador to Indonesia Kamala Shirin Lakhdir.
According to Sri Mulyani, this meeting is a good opportunity to strengthen relations between Indonesia and America in the midst of geopolitical dynamics and the ongoing global economy.
"One of the important topics we discussed is Indonesia's efforts to negotiate the imposition of trade rates by the United States," he said in an official Instagram upload @smindrawati, Thursday, April 17.
Sri Mulyani said that she had many open discussions about the steps that could be taken together so that the problem could be resolved while still prioritizing the principle of justice for the economic interests of the two countries and the world.

In addition, Sri Mulyani also said that many stories about how the 2025 State Budget had been designed to support President Prabowo Subianto's programs, such as the Free Nutrition Food program to the construction of 3 million houses.
"The 2025 state budget is prepared to realize various pro-people programs such as free nutritious meals, social protection, and 3 million houses for the community. All of this is designed while maintaining prudent and sustainable principles," he explained.
