PPPA Minister Hopes Home Film For Alie Becomes Self-Introspection To Present A Safe Environment For Children
JAKARTA - Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) RI, Dra. Hj. Arifatul Choiri Fauzi, M.Si, together with the ministry, attended a viewing with the film Rumah Untuk Alie at XXI Plaza Indonesia, Monday night.
This event was also attended by line-up film players, such as Anantya Kirana, Dito Darmawan, Faris Fadjar, Andryan Didi, Rafly Altama, and Alexandra Vallerie.
This film that touches many hearts is not only a spectacle, but also a reflection of the wounds that are often hidden behind a child's smile. Home For Alie highlights the issue of bullying and emotional violence within the family, a theme that is very relevant to the real work of the Ministry of PPPA.
In his remarks, Minister Arifatul Choiri expressed his appreciation for the courage of this film in bringing a story that is so sensitive but important.
"I hope there will be no more Alie-Alie, anytime, anywhere throughout Indonesia. Through this film we can introspect, whether our house can provide comfort for children," said Arifatul Choiri.
"What Alie experienced in this film could be experienced by many children out there. Bullying, especially what happens at home, can hurt very deeply and leave a long trauma. Let's make home a safe place, not a wound field," he added.
