BDx's AI Data Center Successfully Achieved NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center Certification

JAKARTA - CGK4, a data center or so-called Ready AI campus with a capacity of 500MW owned by the BDx Data Centers (BDx) in Indonesia, has won from the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center Program.

With this achievement, the AI BDx campus is ready to become a large-scale and high-performance infrastructure to support the needs of artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced computing.

"AI is pushing for the birth of a new industrial revolution driven by AI factories. The NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certificate proves BDx's readiness to provide cutting-edge infrastructure for Indonesia," said Mayank Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer, BDx in a statement on Thursday, April 17.

With the inj certification, Mayank added, BDx is committed to realizing large-scale AI democratization for the Indonesian people, as well as accelerating the achievement of the national AI target.

In addition to having the first AI data center area in Indonesia with renewable energy sources, the CGK4 AI campus with a capacity of 500MW owned by BDx Indonesia is ready to set new standards for sustainable development.

BDx is also integrating a direct-to-chip-type liquid-based cooling system on a large scale, to support the future of high-density and energy-efficient AI computing.

"Various companies around the world are now competing to implement AI on a large scale. However, AI's full potential can only be achieved with high and sustainable infrastructure support," said Tony Paikeday, Senior Director, AI Systems, NVIDIA.

With the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certificate, Tony said, clients in Indonesia now have access to advanced AI infrastructure to accelerate the innovation process as well as support the achievement of Indonesia's green economy targets.
