This Is The Concept Of X Gran Equator From Genesis, The Forerunner Of The Future Tough SUV

JAKARTA - A luxury automotive manufacturer from South Korea, Genesis introduced a concept for a future model named X Gran Equator designed for adventure in various terrains.

Launching from the brand page, Thursday, April 17, the concept car carries the philosophy of Athletic Elegency' design like any other Genesis model, but the X Gran Equator is designed to be more resilient and capable of exploring nature.

The name 'Equator' is defined as the best 'best male horse' in the world of horses in Arabia. This is referred to as a symbol of resilience, agility, and subtle force.

Genesis X Gran Equator emphasizes the clean lines with longer front hoods, lean cabins, and sturdy pillars-C to create a different silhouette than other SUVs.

Meanwhile, coatings on the rim arch are made darker with a size of 24 inches and at the same time underline that the car is ready to be tested on the off-road track.

There are additional geometric lights and separate opening backdoors that make this car not only tough, but also focus on practicality.

Moving to the interior, the Genesis X Gran Equator has a number of more advanced digital devices combined with a fairly spacious space. The center of the cabin has a four-circle display cluster, inspired by conventional camera buttons.

The dashboard is designed to be more minimalist, allowing drivers to see their views forward without interruption. Meanwhile, the front seat can be rotated and has a modular storage solution in order to improve practicality.

The X Gran Equator concept signifies a sustainable Genesis expansion into lifestyle-oriented vehicles, which balances sophistication with versatility.

Although the manufacturer has not disclosed the certainty of its production time, the concept has been designed with innovative features and has been equipped with equipment such as rooftop rails and split-opening tailgates, showing the potential for the presence of this car in mass production is increasingly visible.

The concept will appear for the first time in public at the New York International Auto Show 2025 which will take place from 18 April.
