JAKARTA - PT Indomobil Distribution Indonesia inaugurated the launch of the Jeep brand for the Indonesian market as well as introduced the latest Wrangler 4-Door Rubicon.

This car was built with a distinctive Jeep design, focusing on the toughness side and its capabilities across various terrains. This certainly gives off-road fans a breath of fresh air across the country.

Of course this makes Jeep fans and lovers in Indonesia interested in owning this model as their hobby vehicle. So, when do companies distribute the car to customers?

Jeep Indonesia's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Ario Soerjo, said customers who order on the launch date, can get their units by the end of this month or early May.

"If you order now, by the end of this month or early next month you can get the unit," Ario told reporters after the product launch in Cilandak, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 16.

He said that customers who just ordered afterwards had the opportunity to get their units for about 4 months because the delivery time from the United States (US) to get to Indonesia took almost 3 months.

"If the order is new, it's about 4 months. Because the shipping itself is almost 3 months from there," explained Ario.

Ario also explained that his party is optimistic that the brand can be well received by the Indonesian people and will strive to increase its existence in the country's market.

"If there are not many targets, we know that the car was not cheap. But we are trying to maintain, the important thing is to keep the brand exist in Indonesia. There are people who want to buy, but not too many," he explained.

For the country's market, this one-body SUV is available in the choice of pure gasoline with a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that can pump up to 270 ps of power and 400 Nm torque coupled to an automatic transmission of eight accelerations.
