Sheila Majid's Response When Many Sinaran Songs Played On TikTok

JAKARTA - Sinaran, written by Azlan Abu Hassan and Johan Nawawi, can be said to be the best song from Sheila Majid. This song is the mainstay track on the album "Emotion" which was released in 1986.

Despite the age of nearly four decades, in reality this song is still often played on social media, especially TikTok.

When asked for a response to the song, which was widely played on social media, Sheila looked surprised. The reason is, he doesn't really follow what is developing on social media.

"I don't understand TikTok, but thank God, I am very happy with what I heard," said Sheila Majid when met after her appearance at the International Golo Mori Jazz in West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara some time ago.

For Sheila, with the song 'Sinaran' which is widely played on TikTok, it indicates that the reach of the music listeners is getting wider, even to the younger generation today.

"I'm very happy, young people also appreciate the music of my time," he said.

Sheila also expressed her gratitude to many disjoki (DJ) who played a lot of Sinaran' in her appearance. She felt that what the DJs had done had helped her songs meet new listeners.

"Many DJs remix the song Sinan at the music festival, so young people know Sinaran', and they are curious, so when they come home, they finally listen to Sheila Majid's songs again, and are interested," said Sheila.
