Missing Bike In The Parking Area Of Setiabudi Astra MRT Station, MRT Jakarta Sorry

JAKARTA - The case of losing a bicycle when it was parked in the parking area of Setiabudi Astra Jakarta MRT Station is in the spotlight on social media.

The alleged stolen bicycle belongs to a woman with the Instagram account @mimi_campervan_girl. He uploaded a video that tells the story of a bicycle's mistake when parking in a bicycle parking area.

Responding to this, the Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Ahmad Pratomo apologized for the case that occurred on Monday, April 14.

"MRT Jakarta apologizes for the disappearance of one of the Jakarta MRT customers suspected of being a result of theft in the bicycle parking area of Setiabudi Astra Station," Pratomo said in his statement, Wednesday, April 16.

Pratomo said that his party had accompanied the owner of the bicycle to report the incident to the Setiabudi Metro Police, and submitted CCTV footage of the alleged theft.

"MRT Jakarta will provide support for the Police to uncover the alleged theft incident," he said.

As an evaluation of the vulnerability to bicycle theft in the parking area of the station, MRT Jakarta will formulate improvements to security procedures for bicycle parking facilities around the station.

However, Pratomo asked people who are customers of the Jakarta MRT to be more vigilant in using bicycle parking facilities with the use of double security keys.

"MRT Jakarta remains committed and seeks to provide security and comfort for all Jakarta MRT customers, including customers who use bicycles," he added.
