16 Bodies Of Gold Pendulang Korban KKB Ditemukan, Damai Cartenz Sebut Penyelisir Selesai

Head of the Cartenz Peace Task Force, Brigadier General Faizal Rahmadani, said the bodies of 16 gold collectors victims of the murder of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) had been found from various locations in Yahukimo Regency and Bintang Mountains Regency.

"It is true from the reports received that there were 16 bodies that were victims of the KKB in two districts in Papua Province, Mountains," said Faizal in Jayapura, Wednesday, April 16, which was confiscated by Antara.

The 16 bodies have been buried, namely 15 in Dekai, Yahukimo Regency and one in Tanah Merah who is a gold collector in Kawe, Bintang Mountains Regency and evacuated to the capital of Boven Digoel Regency.

Admittedly, currently the personnel conducting the sweep have been withdrawn to Dekai because it is estimated that there are no victims' bodies.

The search has been completed because there is no new data but it has not been confirmed whether the humanitarian operation will end or not.

"We are still waiting for information from Dekai, because they are the ones who decide whether a humanitarian operation is still being carried out or closed," said Faizal.

He explained that humanitarian operations to evacuate victims deployed 500 TNI-Polri personnel supported by three aircraft including two aircraft and helicopters belonging to the Police.

"The number of TNI-Polri personnel who were deployed because the location of the crime scene was in a location that was quite difficult to reach," said Faizal, who is also the Deputy Head of the Papua Police.
