DKI Provincial Government Promises No Extortion In PPSU Recruitment And Can Graduate From Elementary School
JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government will open the recruitment of public infrastructure and facilities handling officers (PPSU) with new requirements, namely allowed for residents who graduated from elementary school (SD).
The Special Staff of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Chico Hakim emphasized that the recruitment process for the Orange Troops was carried out without extortion.
"The recruitment process will certainly take place transparently free from the practice of KKN and also free from extortion practices," Chico told reporters, Wednesday, April 16.
Chico said the PPSU officer procurement process was carried out strictly and openly through the electronic procurement system (SPSE) or online.
This, according to Chico, is done to provide equal opportunities for all eligible candidates.
"The DKI Provincial Government will provide space for the entire community with various educational backgrounds. That means that prospective applicants who graduated from elementary school are also given the opportunity to register," Chico explained.
Previously, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung issued DKI Jakarta Governor Decree Number 267 of 2025 concerning Technical Guidelines for Handling Infrastructure and General Facilities at the Kelurahan Level.
In the Governor's Decree, it is stated that PPSU officers have job qualifications with minimum elementary/equivalent education and/or can read writing and prioritize having an ID card for DKI Jakarta Province.
