It Has Become Slander About The Diplomas, Jokowi Considers Dragging A Number Of Parties To The Legal Field
JAKARTA - The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), is considering that he will bring the issue of his college diploma which is being questioned by a number of parties to the realm of law.
"I am considering because this has become slander everywhere," said Jokowi, in Solo, Central Java, Antara, Wednesday, April 16.
The polemic also includes defamation so that he is considering reporting it to the legal apparatus.
However, he is still reluctant to say who will be reported regarding this matter.
"Later, let it be prepared by the attorney. We will decide immediately, later the attorney will see," he said.
The statement was made following the wish of a number of parties, one of which was the Ulama Defenders Team and Activists (TPUA) who asked Jokowi to show his original diploma issued by Gadjah Mada University (UGM).
Jokowi said that as long as the court asked to show the original diploma, he was ready to show it.

"If the original diploma is asked by the judge, the court asks me to show it, I am ready to come and show the original diploma," he said.
He emphasized that this would be done as long as the court and the judge requested it.
