Bandung Tourists Sitting On The Karang Pura Geger Nusa Dua, Trapped In The Tidal Sea
BADUNG - A local tourist is trapped by high tide in the Pura Geger area, Nusa Dua, Badung, Bali. This tourist was immediately saved.
The Denpasar Search and Rescue Office received information about the trapping of the tourist at around 8:30 a.m. WITA, Wednesday, April 28.
Head of Basarnas Bali Office Gede Darmada said the victim was a tourist from Bandung on behalf of Elvin (30). The victim is staying in Seminyak.
"(Elvin) was seen on a rock while the water had started to tide and someone saw him," said Darmada.
A total of 6 personnel from Basarnas Bali provided assistance. The tourists were evacuated and taken to the beach.
"Earlier the team from Balawista acted quickly by using a rubber boat to save the target at around 9:50 WITA," he said.
Elvin is doing well and not injured. Darmada appealed to tourists visiting the beach to pay attention to the tidal conditions of sea water. The reason is that tourists have been trapped several times.
"If we are negligent, it might threaten our safety. Don't underestimate the natural conditions. The consequences can be fatal," said Darmada.
