11 Bodies Of Gold Collectors Killed By KKB In Yahukimo Received By Family, This Is Their Identity

The National Police have identified the identities of 11 gold collectors killed by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in the Yahukimo Regency, Papua Mountains. Currently, their bodies have been handed over to their families.

"Today we have also handed over 11 victims' bodies to their respective families. This is part of our commitment to ensure that the victims return to their families properly and with dignity," said Deputy Head of Peace Operations Cartenz, Kombes Adama Sinaga in his statement, Monday, April 14.

Previously, one victim who had been identified, Ariston Kamma, had also been handed over to his family. Thus, it was recorded that 12 victims who died as a result of the murder by the KKB had been returned to their relatives.

"On April 10, we handed over 1 body on behalf of Ariston Kamma, the Pegubin TKP to the family," said Adarma.

As for the details of the 11 bodies that have been handed over by the family, namely;

1. Wawan Tangahu, Hamlet III, South Bolmon Regency, North Sulawesi.

2. Suardi Laode alias Kaswadi, Hamlet III, South Bolmon Regency, North Sulawesi.

3. Stenli Humena, Kampung Kalama Darat, Sangihe Islands Regency, North Sulawesi.

4. Yuda Lesmana, Kos Jalan Paradiso, Dekai.

5. Riki Rahmat, Ranomolua Village, Besulutu District, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province.

6. Muhammad Arif, Kos Pemukiman Line II Dekai.

7. Safaruddin, Dekai Line II Settlement Board.

8. Abdur Raffi Batu Bara, Kos Pemukiman Line II Dekai.

9. Stefanus Gisbertus, Tala Village, West Seram Regency, Maluku.

10. Zamroni, Dukuh Dulak, Hangan Village, Tegal Regency, Central Java.

11. Rusli, Buti Village, Merauke Regency, Papua.

For information, the KKB attack took place on Sunday, April 6. Dozens of survivors were killed and dozens of people were displaced as a result of the action. Currently, a joint TNI-Polri team is hunting for the whereabouts of the perpetrators.
