North Korea U-17 Coach Calls The U-17 Indonesian National Team Attack Deadly

JAKARTA - North Korea U-17 will face the U-17 Indonesian national team in the quarter-finals of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup. Ahead of this meeting, O Thae Song as the coach assessed that this opponent had a deadly attack.

The two teams will meet at the King Abdullah Sport City Hall Stadium, Jeddah, on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 21.00 WIB. Prior to the clash, O Thae Song apparently had been wary of the advantages of the U-17 Indonesian national team, especially in carrying out attacks.

"Their playing style (Indonesian U-17 National Team) consists of solid defense and deadly and effective attacks."

"We have to weaken their lead and take advantage of their weaknesses," Thae Song said.

What the North Korean coach revealed was in fact indeed proportional to what happened on the field. The U-17 Indonesian national team proved successful in crushing the match in the group phase with a win.

Of the three matches against South Korea U-17 (1-0), Yemen U-17 (4-1), and Afghanistan U-17 (2-0). This result made the U-17 Indonesian national team collect nine points to top the Group C standings.

Even though they will face a team that managed to wipe out the group stage match, O Thae Song said that the players were still filled with high confidence.
