Qatar MotoGP: Marc Marquez Beware Of Alex Marquez And Francesco Bagnaia
JAKARTA - Ducati racer Marc Marquez is aware of the potential for being grabbed by his younger brother Gresini Racing driver Alex Marquez and team-mate Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia at the Qatar GP which took place at the Lusail International Circuit on Sunday.
Marquez will start the race from the leading position after recording the fastest time in the qualifying session.
"It's too early to conclude because the full race is still waiting. Currently, Pecco, Alex, and I have the same level," Marc Marquez was quoted as saying by Ducati on Sunday.
The Catalan racer emphasized his dominance by winning the Qatar GP sprint session ahead of Alex Marquez who followed him in second place.
"We had a good weekend, which I think is the most important thing of the season for me," said Marquez.
The driver numbered 93 was wary during the sprint race because he used used used tires and felt a little lost in balance in several laps.

Facing this condition, Marquez tried to continue to widen the time record of Alex's pursuit which continued to overshadow him in second place.
"From the fifth or sixth round onwards, with used tires, I usually feel better when driving," said the eight-time racer who won the world championship.
"That's why I chose to try and stay away as soon as I felt the bike started to shift a bit. However, the real difference this year is in terms of time," added Marquez.
Marquez is now in a condition ready to win his third Grand Prix title this season.
Marc Marquez previously failed to maintain a grand Prix victory for the third time in a row after falling on the AmericanGP which took place at the Circuit of The America (COTA), Austin, Texas.
