Bank DKI Customers Need Not Worry, Legislator: Funds 100 Percent Safe

JAKARTA - Member of Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Andri Santosa asked Bank DKI customers not to worry about the ongoing system recovery.

The incident took place more than 10 days, which coincided with the day before the celebration of Eid al-Fitr or Lebaran 2025.

Andri ensured that Bank DKI customer funds were guaranteed to be safe. Then it was confirmed that no funds were lost or reduced.

"Bank DKI customers do not need to worry because Bank DKI ensures that customer funds are 100 percent safe," Andri told reporters at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Thursday, April 10.

Andri also revealed that Bank DKI also guarantees customer funds. It's just that the problem is purely due to a problem with the service system that is connected to several parties.

"The service system does not only involve Bank DKI. But there is Bank Indonesia, then there is BI Fast, and there is also OJK (Financial Services Authority)," he said.

Furthermore, Andri emphasized, the relevant parties are certainly currently continuing to investigate to find the root of the problem. This effort is expected to anticipate unwanted obstacles that will reoccur in the future.

"So for the time being, for security reasons, de-freeze the transfer service system or from mobile banking. To anticipate unwanted obstacles," he concluded.
