BYD M6 Officially Launches In The Philippines, The Price Is More Expensive
JAKARTA - BYD eMax 7 known as the M6 in Indonesia officially launched in the Philippines, which is present in two variants namely the Standard and Superior Captain or the highest specifications.
Quoting from the Top Gear PH page, Friday, April 11, the Standard variant is priced at 1,498,000 pesos or around Rp. 441 million, while the highest variant reaches 1,798,000 pesos or Rp. 529 million.
Referring to the price in Indonesia, BYD eMax 7 in the Philippines is relatively more expensive. For the Indonesian automotive market, BYD presents three choices of variants ranging from the Standard, Superior and Superior Captain. The price itself starts from IDR 382 million to IDR 433 million.
As the name implies, the Superior Captain variant has a configuration of six passengers, with two seat seat seat seats in the second row. The basic variant is a more traditional MPV with a layout of seven passengers, although the difference does not stop there.
In terms of performance, the Superior Captain variant packs a more powerful motor and a larger battery than the basic variant. While still using an FWD system with a single motor, the higher variant can go as far as 530 km, 110 km further than the driving range of the base variant.

In the cabin, by paying extra for the upper class 7 eMax, the owner will get a panoramic glass roof and ambient lighting. Second row passengers also get ventilation in the captain's seat. On the exterior, the back door gets an open and one-touch lid mechanism and a roof rail.
Perhaps the most important thing, apart from the second row captain seat, Superior Captain eMax 7 gets a complete version of DiPilot's advanced driver assistance system from BYD.
While both variants have a 360-degree camera system and four-sensor radar settings, the fully charged eMax 7 features adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking system, lane departure assist, and blind spot detection.
