Deputy Governor Ingkong Will Visit Kayan's Administrative Staff At The RI-Malaysia Border
TANJUNG SELOR - Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Zainal A Paliwang together with North Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto and Korem Commander (Danrem) 092/Maharajala Brigadier General Adek Chandra Kurniawan accompanied by Malinau Regent Wempi W. Mawa will make a working visit (work) to the Indonesia-Malaysia border area in Kayan Aahu, Malinau Regency next week.
Deputy Governor (Deputy Governor) of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Ingkong Ala said there would be 2 (two) locations to be visited, namely Sungai Boh and South Kayan Districts and Long Nawang villages in Kayan Hulu District.
"The agenda for visits includes road visits, the Integrated State Border Post (PLBN) building of Long Nawang and community gatherings to hear directly the aspirations of the border community," said Inkong Ala, Wednesday, April 9.
"This Kunker is to evaluate real conditions in the field, absorb people's aspirations, monitor activities from the OPD in 2024, then check the 2025 program, especially at Kayan Aahu on 4 (four) sub-districts," he continued.
To ensure that the account can run well, Deputy Governor Ingkong is scheduled to depart early for Long Nawang, then by road to Sungai Boh District, the day before the Governor's arrival schedule.
He also invited relevant stakeholders and OPD to jointly see Bailey's steel frame along the road and find a joint solution.
"We will also discuss the construction of bridges at several points where it was previously known that there were 63 points and only 23 points were built," said Inkong.
Moreover, infrastructure such as roads and bridges is very important related to the community's need for basic/sembako materials.
"Because so far people have only relied on the Sumalindo road in the East Kalimantan area which is used for logistics mobilization," he said.
Deputy Governor Ingkong said that when he visited Krayan some time ago his party also found several road points damaged.
"From the results of visits in Krayan, road damage did not reach 100 meters, because his condition was severe, the road users were forced to take a long time until the night," he added.
For this reason, his party together with the relevant OPD plan to return to Krayan to tour to see firsthand the vulnerable point.
"If the weather is good, together with the PUPR Service we will return to Krayan using a motorbike so that we know how much damage is," said the deputy governor.
