KAIST Brings Home Sweet Home G-Dragon Songs Moving From Space

JAKARTA - G-Dragon's comeback after seven years is celebrated in various ways. Some even penetrated space thanks to collaboration with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST).

On April 10, KAIST reported that the song Home Sweet Home was successfully brought to space to be played from abroad. A satellite was sent by the South Korean institute on Wednesday, April 9 and successfully landed today, Thursday, April 10.

This project also involves the AI Entertainment Research Center to create a cinematic art media called Iris. With the concept of projectiom mapping, Lee Jin-joon who is a professor of KAIST presents meaningful visual presentations.

"Iris is also known as a mirror of the soul, and is a symbol that reflects one's emotions and identities," said Professor Lee quoting Korea Joong Ang Daily, April 10.

"This art work aims to describe an infinite universe, viewed through humans and G-Dragon gazes," he added.

G-Dragon's collaboration with KAIST itself has started since the artist became a guest professor there. He explored the mechanical engineering world until 2026.

Meanwhile, Home Sweet Home itself is the first track from G-Dragon's latest album, Ubermensch. The song also involves Taeyang and Daesung, which makes it feel like a mini-unit of BigBang.

Currently G-Dragon is undergoing a world tour series for his new album. After the health facility is held in South Korea, he will stop at several countries in Asia, including the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia.
