Commission VIII Of The House Of Representatives Asks For A Title And Permit For The Practice Of A Patient's Child Raping Doctor In Bandung To Be Revoked

JAKARTA - Member of Commission VIII DPR RI, Maman Imanul Haq admitted that he was furious with the rape case of a specialist doctor education program (PPDS) student, Priguna Anugrah Pratama for a patient child at Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung. He urged the title and practice permit of Priguna Anugrah Pratama as a doctor, to be revoked.

"This is an extraordinary crime committed by a doctor to wait for patients and two patients in the hospital. His status as a PPDS student has ended, and I ask that his doctor's degree be revoked and prohibit practicing as a doctor," said Maman, Thursday, April 10.

"Don't let such criminal lewd doctors continue to practice. This action damages the medical profession. The doctor's career must be finished here enough," he said.

According to Maman, the behavior of the perpetrators of rape cannot be tolerated in any form. Moreover, the barbaric act was carried out by doctors to patients and patients' families. He regretted that women in this case were again victims of sexual crimes.

"Just imagine, people go to the hospital for treatment or accompany sick families, but instead get raped. Where is the common sense that justifies the action? This is a crime that must be punished," said Maman.

Maman assessed that the perpetrators must also be expelled from the medical ranks. "The status of his membership as a member of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) must also be revoked," he said.

Maman assessed that the perpetrators had studied the psychology of women who were patients or patients waiting at the hospital. They are generally in a weakly helpless position and psychologically do not focus because there are family members who are sick or the victim's position as patients.

"This powerlessness is the gap for the perpetrators to launch their actions," he said.

In addition to the victim's condition that has been observed, according to Maman, the perpetrator has also studied the condition of the hospital so that he knows when the time he thinks is right to rape the victim.

Therefore, Maman encouraged a thorough examination by the hospital to find out if any other party was involved in this case. As well as as an effort to tighten up so that there is no gap for sexual crimes against anyone in the hospital.

"Hospitals must tighten supervision so that cases like this do not happen again," said Maman.

It is known, this case was first crowded in public when it was uploaded to the Instagram social media account @ppdsgram on Tuesday, April 8, which stated that the perpetrator raped one of the rooms on the 7th floor of one of the RSHS buildings in March 2025.

The perpetrator's modus operandi is to ask the victim to undergo a crossmatch examination or blood type match that will be transfused to the recipient. Patients who became victims were teased before being raped. After realizing it, the victim felt pain not only in the hands of the infusion mark but also in the genitals.

The post-mortem results found traces of sperm fluid in his genitals and the victim reported this incident to the West Java Regional Police. Later, based on the results of the examination, the victim was proven to have raped two patients at RSHS.
