Commission III Of The House Of Representatives Asks Doctors To Rape Children Of Patients Fired And Sentenced
Member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives Soedeson Tandra asked the resident doctor of the Specialist Doctors Education Program (PPD) Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University (FK Unpad) with the initials PAP to be dealt with firmly for the rape case of his patient's child at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung.
Soedeson urged that PAP be expelled from the medical profession and fired as an Unpad FK student, and sentenced to criminal charges.
"There are two important things; one, he violated professional ethics, right. So the person concerned must be fired and expelled from the medical profession," Soedeson said when contacted by reporters, Thursday, April 10.
"Secondly, he violated the criminal law. Therefore, we ask the police to take firm action against the person concerned," he continued.
Soedeson regretted that this rape case was carried out against the victim who was waiting for her parents at the hospital. According to him, PAP's actions include very heinous acts.
"That this victim should be taking care of his parents, instead he became a victim for the second time, right. Taking care of parents who are in critical condition, then he is now facing a rape case which in my opinion is very heinous. Strict action must be taken," said the Golkar legislator from the Papuan electoral district.
"So for me, he is not only processed criminally, but must also be taken and expelled from his profession because he frankly violates the ethics of the medical profession," he continued.
Soedeson assessed that the dismissal of PAP from the medical profession must be done so that similar cases do not happen again in the future. Moreover, according to him, the medical profession is a noble job that must be upheld.

"You have to. It is inappropriate for the person concerned to undergo the profession as a doctor. Because the doctor's job is a noble task that should be upheld. He (the doctor, ed) is not only doing his job as a job, but he is doing himself as a profession in order to help, help people. difficult, "said Soedeson.
"(PAP) is not helping, it makes it even more difficult for people," he concluded.
