Vacation To Japan Without Permission, Lucky Hakim Addressed The Deputy Minister Of Home Affairs After Being Examined By The Inspector General Of The Ministry Of Home Affairs

JAKARTA - Indramayu Regent Lucky Hakim fulfilled the summons to appear before the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto after being questioned by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Previously, Lucky underwent an examination by the Inspectorate General (Irjen) of the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Gambir area, Jakarta, on Tuesday, April 8.

Based on observations, Lucky arrived at building B of the Ministry of Home Affairs at around 16.57 WIB. He was seen getting out of Mazda's red car, wearing a typical regent's brown safari shirt, and accompanied by several people.

"Allow me to go inside first (The Ministry of Home Affairs Building B to the room to meet Bima)," Lucky told reporters as reported by ANTARA.

Previously, Lucky underwent an examination by the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding his trip to Japan during the Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri holiday, which was allegedly carried out without official permission and violated the prohibition of traveling abroad for regional heads.

"Mr. Regent (Lucky) was asked for information from the Inspectorate in Gambir at 13.00 WIB," said Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto, to reporters when entering the B Kemdagri building.

Previously, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi reprimanded Lucky for traveling to Japan without permission.

"It is true that it is a personal right, everyone can take a vacation, especially on holidays and Eid holidays," he said.

However, he continued, governors, regents, mayors, deputy governors, deputy regents, and deputy mayors if they travel abroad must obtain permission from the Minister of Home Affairs.

"The letter was submitted through the Governor of West Java," wrote Dedi in his official Instagram account upload quoted from Jakarta, Monday.

The moment Lucky left for Japan was known from the upload on his personal Instagram account. In the upload, it appears that he got out of the car wearing Japanese clothing.

The trip was allegedly without permission from the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, or from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

This is considered contrary to a circular letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs which prohibits regional heads from traveling abroad during the Lebaran holiday because they handle various important matters related to the celebration of Muslim holidays.
