Haven't Launched The Aito M8 Already Recorded 100,000 Orders, What's Special?

JAKARTA - Aito, a joint venture brand from Seres and Huawei, has achieved success for his latest model, M8, where the car is claimed to have recorded 100,000 orders since it opened pre-order last March 6.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Tuesday, April 8, the car is scheduled to officially launch this month (April) and withdraw its sales quite rapidly. Even after an hour of the start of pre-sales, this car has already received 7,500 orders.

This number continues to grow to 21,000 units within 6 hours and 28,000 units within 12 hours. Aito M8 received 70,000 orders two weeks after pre-sales opened. In fact, the company revealed that the M8 had received 100,000 orders within 32 days.

This proves that Aito M8 will be one of the best-selling models in the EREV crossover class after its launch. Later this model will become Li Auto L8 and Deepal S09's main competitors.

In specifications, Aito M8 is a bongsor SUV that has a dimensions of 5,190 mm, a width of 1,999 mm and a height of 1,795 mm with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm. This car has a LiDAR sensor on the roof and a large front light combined with an LED strip.

This car comes with a cabin with 2+2+2 and 2+3 layouts. This car has a head-up augmented reality Huawei screen measuring 75 inches and a large three screen.

The new SUV is powered by a 4WD double-motor with a peak power of 392 kW (526 hp). Behind the hood, this SUV has a range expander of 1.5 liters of turbocharged. The batteries are LFP or NMC terner with a capacity of 36 kWh or 52 kWh. The range of CLTC is 201 km and 310 km, respectively.

Talking about Aito is not new, in Indonesia the name uses the Seres brand and has been introduced at several Indonesian automotive exhibitions, it's just that it's still the left steering wheel. There are two models brought, namely Seres 9 and Seres 7.
