Jasa Marga Says Trans Java Toll Road Is Back To Normal After The 2025 Eid Holiday

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) stated that the flow of vehicles on the Trans Java toll road had returned to normal after the Lebaran 2025 holiday.

The police have also stopped all traffic engineering as a whole.

"Based on the discretion of the police, closing the traffic engineering of One Way for the return flow period for the Eid Al-Fitr 1446 Hijri holiday on the Trans Java Toll Road from Semarang to Cikampek, namely on Tuesday, April 8, at 08.00 WIB," said Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana in a written statement, Tuesday, April 8.

Prior to the closure of traffic engineering, said Lisye, lane cleaning had been carried out for two hours from 06.00 WIB, so open traffic could be carried out in both directions from KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) to KM 70 Jakarta Toll Road Cikampek.

"Jasa Marga would like to thank you for the cooperation and support of road users in realizing homecoming and homecoming trips on the Al-Fitr 1446 Hijri holiday which is safe, smooth and comfortable until they are safe to their destination," he said.

Lisye also continues to urge road users to always be careful when driving and obey signs and follow directions from officers in the field.

Road users are asked to ensure adequate supplies, electronic money balances and fuel before entering the toll road so that the trip is more comfortable.

Meanwhile, the Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police stated that the number of vehicles that had returned to the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi or Jabodetabek areas on the 2025 Eid backflow reached 60 to 70 percent.

The percentage is based on the results of backflow monitoring as of Monday, April 7, 2025.

The average number of vehicles entering the Jakarta area reaches 5,000 to 7,000 vehicles.

"We report that until this morning the projection of backflow is approximately 2.2 million, approximately 1,375,000 vehicles have entered Jakarta," said Head of Traffic Police, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, quoted on Tuesday, April 8.
