The U-17 Indonesian National Team Prints History, First Qualifying For The U-17 World Cup Through The Qualification Line
JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team coach, Nova Arianto, is grateful for the success of his team who was able to secure a place to the 2025 U-17 World Cup.
This record is a separate history for Indonesia U-17. For the first time, Garuda Troops were able to qualify for the U-17 World Cup through the qualifying path.
Indonesia U-17 has only been recorded as having played in the U-17 World Cup in 2023, aka debut. That too through the host line.
For the hard work done by his foster children to make history, Nova did not hesitate to say thank you.
"I thank my players for working very hard."
"Once again, this victory has passed us the U-17 World Cup, to be the best gift for PSSI," Nova said again.

The Garuda Nusantara squad will certainly qualify for the 2025 U-17 World Cup after defeating Yemen 4-1 in the second match of Group C of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium, Monday, April 7, 2025.
Indonesia's victory could not be separated from the goals scored by Zahaby Gholy, Fadly Alberto, and Evandra Florasta's two goals.
The success of the U-17 Indonesian national team to advance to the U-17 World Cup is also inseparable from the results of other matches when South Korea slaughtered Afghanistan 6-0.
In addition to appreciating the performance of his foster children, the former assistant Shin Tae-yong also thanked PSSI for providing good preparations to Garuda Muda.
"All of this is thanks to PSSI which has been very supportive of us. This is the result we got optimally. Hopefully this will be the best," said Nova.
With the two victories won in Group C over South Korea and Yemen, Nova Arianto acknowledged and hoped that the U-17 Indonesian national team players could develop even more in the face of advanced matches.
"What is certain is that I thank the players who gave them extraordinary hard work."
"In the first match and in the second match, I see all the players are very mentally extraordinary physically and understanding about tactics and hopefully the players will develop even more in the future," said the coach.
Since it was first held in 1985 in China, the U-17 Indonesian national team has never qualified for the U-17 World Cup until finally hosting it in 2023 or the 19th edition.
