Lanny/Fadia Don't Set High Targets At BAC 2025
JAKARTA The women's doubles Lanny Tria Mayasari/Siti Fadi Silva Ramadhanti did not dare to set a high target for the 2025 Badminton Asia Championships (BAC) this week.
The tournament, which has a level equivalent to Super 1000 BWF, will take place on April 8-13, 2025 at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center, China. This event provides a total prize of 500 thousand US dollars.
Lanny/Fadia will start their journey in the event against Hong Kong representative Yeung Nga Ting/Yeung Pui Lam, on the second day of the tournament, Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
"If only one by one, because from the first half it was not easy to fight," said Fadia in a statement received from PBSI Public Relations.
Lanny/Fadia have previously played together since the Indonesia International Challenge 2024 in Surabaya. The 2025 Thailand Masters champion pair was then separated during the European tour in March 2025.

While in Europe, Fadia was recorded as playing with Apriyani Rahayu. The two played at the Orleans Masters and All England 2025, the world's oldest badminton event.
"Alhamdullilah, of course, I am very happy to have the opportunity to partner again with Fadia. The preparation is quite good, we focus on improving the rotation."
"If it's a matter of grouping, it's enough to count, yes. It's not too difficult because it only separates for a few matches," said Lanny.
Indonesia has deployed a total of 19 representatives in the 2025 Badminton Asia Championship (BAC). The women's doubles number has four pairs in the event.
The other three couples are Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, Rachel Allesya Rose/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, and Siti Sarah Azzahra/Agnia Sri Rahayu.
