Father-Son Wage Of Rp. 6.5 Million Passed WNs From India 2 Times In Action
JAKARTA - The police said that the Indonesian citizen (previously written as a foreigner) with the initials JD had used the services of father-son, S and RW twice, to be able to return to Indonesia from India without quarantine.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that from the examination, the father and son determined that they would pay Rp 6.5 million for their escape.
"JD admitted that he had been able to get out twice, without going through home quarantine in exchange for Rp. 6.5 million," Yusri told reporters, Tuesday, April 27.
But regarding the process or how the father and son were able to pass the JD, said Yusri, until now they are still in depth. It's just that JD and the two people who were named as elements of the DKI Tourism Office have known them for a long time.
"S is an acquaintance of JD where he has previously used the service (passed)," said Yusri.
Apart from that, Yusri also said that the investigating team was still investigating the case further. This is because there are allegations that not only S and RW are using the modus operandi and helping people escape without quarantine.
"We are still investigating this because of the modes of mechanism because it seems that it is starting to develop again," he said.
Previously, the police arrested S and RW, who are father and son. They helped Indonesian citizens (WNA) who had lived in India with the initials JD to enter Indonesia through Soekarno-Hatta Airport without a quarantine period.
In carrying out the action, the father and son claimed to be airport officers. They offered JD assistance in exchange for around Rp. 6.5 million.
