Update On COVID-19 As Of April 27: New Cases 4,656, Active Cases 100,256
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 76,621 specimens were examined with the results of 4,656 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 1,651,794 people and 100,256 active cases," the Ministry of Health was quoted as saying, Tuesday, April 27.
Cases recovered today increased by 4,884 cases, so that a total of 1,506,599 people recovered. Then, the confirmed positive cases who died increased by 168 people and the total was 44,939 people.
The province with the most new cases was in West Java with 1,164 cases and a total of 277,553 cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta which has 393 new cases with a total of 406,205 cases. Riau has 383 new cases and a total of 42,698 cases. Then, Central Java has 354 new cases and a total of 183,027 cases.
The province with the most cases recovered today belongs to West Java with an additional 846 cases recovered. Followed by Central Java with an additional 643 recovered cases, DKI Jakarta with an additional 600 recovered cases, and Riau with an additional 331 recovered cases.
There are two provinces that reported no new cases as of today. Provinces that reported zero new cases were Maluku and Gorontalo.
In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 14,393,110.
"Positive results per number of specimens examined or this week's positivity rate was 18.20 percent," he wrote.
For the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it was recorded at 65,911 people. Currently, 510 districts / cities from 34 provinces have COVID-19 cases.
Currently, 11,981,034 people have been vaccinated against the first dose of COVID-19 and 7,178,768 vaccinated against the second dose. Meanwhile, the total target of priority vaccination for phase 1 and 2 reached 40,349,051 people.
