50 Percent Cashback For Ojol Buying Fuel At Pertamina

JAKARTA - Pertamina provides cashback of 50 percent for online motorcycle taxis (ojol) for purchasing fuel oil (BBM) at gas stations with payment via the MyPertamina application.

Pertamina's President Director Nicke Widyawati explained that this program was an assistance to ease the burden on the life of motorcycle taxi drivers during the coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, at this time, people do not have much activity outside the home, which causes the income of ojol to decrease.

"As an appreciation for the services provided by ojol, Pertamina provides a special program in purchasing fuel using the MyPertamina application. Hopefully, the program, which runs for the next 3 months, can also ease the cost burden that must be paid by online motorcycle taxis in carrying out their work," said Nicke in his statement , Tuesday, April 14th.

The maximum cashback that will be given is IDR 15 thousand. This cashback can be obtained by 10 thousand ojol drivers every day. The total cashback balance that Pertamina will provide for the entire 3-month program is IDR 13.5 billion.

The condition, Nicke explained, is that ojol must download the MyPertamina application and activate the LinkAja feature. Then, Ojol made purchases of non-subsidized fuel, namely Pertalite and Pertamax Series, with LinkAja non-cash payments in the MyPertamina application.

Next, the driver must record a screenshot (screenshot) of his profile as an ojol partner and upload it to MyPertamina (select the "online motorcycle taxi" banner, then select "more info" and "upload"). Then, upload a screenshot of proof of fuel payment with LinkAja, and enter the reference number.

"This program only applies to gas stations that have provided non-cash transaction features with LinkAja, the list of which can be seen on Pertamina's website," he said.
