Gambir Station Starts To Be Crowded With Passengers Backflow

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Railway Limited Company (PT KAI) Operational Area 1 Jakarta KAI noted that on April 3, 48,823 passengers arrived at the Daop 1 Jakarta station with details of 15,797 passengers arriving at Gambir Station and 16,694 passengers arriving at Pasar Senen Station.

"The arrival at Gambir Station was 15,797 passengers," said Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Ixfan Hendriwintoko when confirmed by ANTARA in Jakarta, Thursday, April 3.

Overall, 16,332 passengers arrived at other stations in the Jakarta Daop 1 area such as Bekasi, Jatinegara, Cikampek, Karawang, and Cikarang Stations.

Until now, he said, the number of passenger arrivals recorded on April 3, 2025 showed an increase compared to the previous day during the 2025 Eid transportation period.

With the increasing number of passengers, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta urges prospective passengers to prepare for trips properly, comply with all regulations at stations and during travel, and ensure departures on time by purchasing tickets early through the official PT KAI application or channel.

"We hope that people can go safely, comfortably, and comply with applicable regulations for the smooth return of Lebaran 2025," said Ixfan.
