Deaf Friends From Theater Seven Remember Ray Sahetapy, Serious Teaching And Not Careless
JAKARTA - Five students of the late Ray Sahetapy from Theater Seven, attended the Sentosa Funeral Home, Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Central Jakarta today, Thursday, April 3.
Ray himself is a founder and lecturer at Theater Seven, a community that embraces people with hearing problems or called deaf friends', for art in theater arts.
Marta Hardy as a member of the Seven Theater said the late Ray was a big figure who did not hesitate to share his knowledge.
"I'm happy because Om Ray can support deaf friends, I already love deaf friends like the late Gischa and Surya, like children themselves," said Marta.
He appreciated Ray for forming the Seven Theater, continuing to encourage deaf friends to believe in his abilities.
"He founded Theater Seven, so that people realize that deafness can also be done. Om Ray also hopes that deaf friends can show their abilities," said Marta.

"He encourages deaf friends and likes to share the theater knowledge he has studied in the past. He distributes it all to us, especially deaf friends and deaf children," he added.
Marta also admitted that she had known for a long time that Ray had diabetes and had symptoms of a stroke.
"I once told Om Ray to reduce sweetness, because the risk is high. He has a history of diabetes, I'm worried about how Om Ray can teach and can continue the Seven Theater," he said.
"My prayers, I hope Om Ray in the nature is calm, doesn't hurt anymore, can get a good place and meet the late Kak Gischa," concluded Marta.
